From Atlanta:
Travel I-85 north and merge left onto I-985 north toward Gainesville. Once past Gainesville, continue north on Highway 365/23 approximately 20-30 minutes to the Demorest/Mt. Airy highway intersection (traffic light intersection.) Travel through this intersection staying on 365/23 for approximately 1 mile taking the first left onto Double Bridge Road. Once on Double Bridge Road, travel 1/4 mile to the Sweetgrass information center on your left. From the information center, the property entrance is an additional 1/2 mile ahead on your left.

From Demorest/Clarkesville:
From historic highway 441, turn onto Double Bridge Road, which is 1 mile north of the Habersham County Medical Center. Travel 11/2 miles to property entrance on your right. Continue for an additional 1/2 mile to the information center.

Distances to Sweetgrass:

  • I-85 north perimeter: 65 miles
  • Buford/Mall of Georgia exit on I-985: 44 miles
  • Gainesville/Jesse Jewell Pkwy. exit on I-985: 24 miles
